Customer Review: Great portable board for travel
Summary: 5 Stars
I really like the compact form of this board. Not only would it be good for travel (airplane or train), but for those times you want to play in bed or on the couch - without having to worry about a level playing surface. I also envision taking it it to our favorite diner on one of those lazy weekend mornings when you want to eat breakfast and play at the same time. And if you don't finish the game before you get the check, just zip up the folio and continue it at home!

Some people are too picky. We thought this was great! Played it in the car, at the beach, etc... It held up really well. We didn't even use the tile racks, the tiles are small enough to hold in your hand, and move them around. They stayed put on the board, and clean up was a breeze. I like the zipper packaging (no lost pieces). It comes with a pre-printed pad and a place for a pen or pencil. I can even stick a small dictionary in the zipper game. Loved the idea of a scrabble travel game; unfortunately, this left me a little disappointed. The pieces are extremely small and this would not be a problem except they are snap in, not made with strong magnets. Snap in might not even be a problem but these are extremely difficult to remove from the slots once in place. Functional but not for those with arthritis, fine motor control problems, or visual problem. Heck even if you had none of these difficulties it could be difficult to use.Customer Review: Perfect for serious travelers!

We travel a lot and have taken this game to many places. We absolutely love it!! Need to change trains or planes? No problem, the tiles snap into the holders, which in turn snap into slots labeled for each player. Board folds up with or without tiles in it. Our board was left open and got rained on once, brought to the beach and got sandy, got food dropped on it...we just wiped it off and away we went! Be sure to get a small dictionary so you can end word disputes quickly!Customer Review: scrabblicious

This travel case is the perfect size for bringing on trips. Just brought it on a 27 hour train ride and it was great! The tiles stay in well and it's hard to lose them (unless you drop them). Once you figure out how to snap them in, the tile holders are cool and work well when pausing the game (and making sure you dont drop the tiles when it's not your turn!). It's recommended to get yourself a two-letter word list and pocket dictionary. Both fit well in the case. Enjoy!
