Customer Review: Girls Night

When the girl's in my family have a "Girl's Night Off" (no kids/husbands/boyfriends) we love to play Catch Phrase! We pop a bottle of wine or champagne, make some snacks and laugh until we cry. Our ages range from 20 years to 50 something and we all equally enjoy it.
The only problem is that after the 4th or 5th time we played it, it started repeating itself.
Hasbro needs to come up with a way to add new words / catagories so we can continue to have a terrific time at these game nights.
Please come up with a fix to this problem ASAP!!!!

I loved this game at first. I played the card version a few time, then got the electric one. I agree with another reviewer that this is a lot more portable. Instead of lugging around a box, I can just toss this in a bag and bring it along. Unfortunately, there is no off button and it is easily set off on accident. I can live without the loud noises coming from my bag. Poor design. It also has a limited number of words. Although the game is a lot of fun, you can run through the words pretty quickly and there is no way to update the list or add an expansion.Customer Review: This game is awesome!

I bought this game after playing it at a friend's party and I just had to have one! Everyone who I have played this game with has become hooked as well. This unit has so many words and phrases that I haven't yet seen any repeats. Also, the fact that it is a handheld game makes it easy to play anywhere. The only drawback is the loudness of the timer. It was so annoying that we actually just put some duct tape over the speaker. You could still hear the timer and it was much more bearable. All in all, a great product! Catch Phrase may not be a popular game, and few have heard of it, but in reality, it is extremely fun for all ages. I've played with a 9 year-old and a 40-year-old before, and no one got bored! And not only is it fun and entertaining, but it improves vocabulary skills. One of the best parts of this game is, once you've had it for a week, your kids will still be playing it. It never loses its fun. So I recomend you try this game. If you liked this game, you should also try Cranium. A game that focuses on many different talents and is fun for everyone.Customer Review: Great Game... even with the flaws

Awesome Game... so much fun to play with friends and family. The only negatives are:
- There is no "off" switch. Since the game turns on if you press one of the buttons, if you just pack this in a bag, it can easily turn itself on, and start making that LOUD beeping sound. You need a screwdriver to remove the batteries, so that's not really an option either.
- There are several word repeats even though there is a large word bank to pull from.
But it is definately a great buy for the price. I highly recommend it.
