Toys and Games Reviews of Easy Bake OvenCustomer Review: Not worth the time or money Summary: 1 Stars
The light bulb was hard to find and the mixes did not come with any instructions on how long to cook them. We had to look it up on the Internet. Also, the brownies came out overdone and there was no way to check on them while they were "cooking". The next time, we undercooked them and the mess that was made inside the oven was disgusting and impossible to clean. I never had one of these as a child and always wanted one. Now I wish that I had never made the mistake of getting this for my daughter. It is going in the trash. She has more fun baking with me in the "real" oven.

Hope this doesn't duplicate another review...
I've found this web site...which states
"This collection of recipes was created for use with kids toy ovens such as the Easy Bake Oven (By Hasbro!), or the Queasy Bake oven (Also by hasbro), as well as other toy ovens. These recipes are not mixes, but are actually recipes scaled to toy oven size for the budding chef in your family.

Customer Review: Not what I remember Summary: 3 Stars
This product was entertaining for my 7 year old. However, the product was over priced for what you get. It is not as sturdy as the old easy bakes of the past. The cake mixes that come with it are a joke- our first wouldnt even cover the bottom of the little pan that is provided. We used regular cake mix after that and it did okay. None of the utensils that came with it measure correctly. I dont know that I would purchase it again at that price. I could have actually bought a real microwave cheaper on Black Friday!

Well, not much to say here. These are the same ovens and mixes they've always been. We did sugar cookies and the pan cake. Both of them turned out pretty yucky - the cookies were OK, hard on the edges but soft in the center. The cake turned out to be nasty, mostly hard all the way through it, and the frosting didn't help much. It was fun for my daughter to mix up the ingredients and bake it herself, though. One nice thing would be for the timer on the front to actually be hooked to something to turn the bulb on or off.
Customer Review: A classic, but better than when I was a kid Summary: 4 Stars
I begged for one of these when I was eight. Back then, it took forever and came out raw anyway. Only my brother would eat it. My daughter got this one for Christmas this year. She loves it. It cooks much better than the 70's version. The mixes are absurdly expensive. You can find recipies on the internet that work well and cost next to nothing. If you get the little door dirty it is near impossible to clean, so think twice about pizza... it doesn't come out that good anyway.
