Customer Review: Fun but, may be challenging for young

I got this for my son when he was 4years old. I found that he was a little too immature still to follow directions the game was giving. However I would play with him, so I could just repeat what the game said. I would not recommend this game to anyone with the intention of entertaining the kids so you can get something done, they need the adult guidence because it can be difficult to hear the speaker, and it gives commands very quickly. So the child has to be paying attention at all times...something that seems to be diffcult for a younger child to do. Overall its a great toy but, the kids will enjoy it more if they have adult guidence and supervision encouraging them along the way.Customer Review: I love playing this with my kids

We got this for our 2 1/2 and 5 yr old girls for xmas and we all love it. It is challenging for our 2 1/2 yr old who is learning colors and shapes, and just plain fun for the 5 yr old. I groan when they bring it out, thinking "not again!" but I always get sucked in once they start playing. My husband will be in his office working and come out once he hears the noise. Everyone wins at least once, even if the two yr old doesn't even understand what she is doing. I highly recommend this game.I gave it only 4 stars for "education" because it is pretty limited in what it teaches (a few shapes, colors and how to follow directions). But it is so fun, that all does not matter.

Perfect for those days when you can't boot the kids off the couch & away from what ever media (TV. Comp. etc) has been captivating their attention. It gets everyone thinking, moving, and laughing. Actually, this is perfect for anytime and any occation. Lots of fun. A good learning experience for the younger players, & great for working on gross motor skills even for the older players. I brought this with us for a family get together. Even my 9 yr. old niece had fun with this. The younger kids, 2 & 3 yr. olds, needed assistance in where they were suppose to go, but had a great time!
I do wish there was a repeat button & that the commands were a bit more spaced apart.

I got this a couple of weeks ago for Christmas. My 2YO really liked it but can't really play... just jumps around. My 4YO had an OK time playing, but hasn't asked to play it since. From a parents view, I was actually expecting a little more from Cranium. The categories they start on have nothing to do with the game. And it is hard to hear the announcer over the music and a couple kids. It is also VERY repetitive, and I can't determine any difference between the beginner & advanced levels. The fun is having the kids bounce around, as it is kind of "twister-like". So not all good or all bad, but I guess I was just expecting more from the positive reviews.Customer Review: Awesome!!!

This is a great game for the whole family! It gets everyone active! I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they both love to play the game! So it's probably hilarious fun with older kids, and really a great fun and introduction into games for little ones! It even gets dad acting crazy though we have to twist his arm to play it sometimes!
It's really simple and easy for a preschooler to pick up.. a game every family with young kids should have. It teaches foods, musical instruments, animals, shapes and colors, so I think it would be a great game for a preschool to have or a sunday school class.. or any group that does things with young kids!
