We got this for our 6 year old nephew for Christmas and he really got into it. I think the adults enjoyed it as much as he did. "quick pass" and "youre out" were definite favorites of the games it does. You need to put the colored plastic part on the inside of your hand to make sure the ball registers your color when you catch it, on the wrist is not good enough.Customer Review: Great fun for school agers!

We purchased this toy to use in our school age program that serves children from kindergarten through fifth grade. The children love it! This is a great activity and allows several children to play at once. It is physical, mental, and just fun! We have been very happy with this item. My 9 year-old recommended we get this game for our 4 year-old. We all played it and had a great time. The two-year old also seemed to really enjoy it (although he couldn't really catch it, he could hit it with the color band you wear. We bought this toy for my 8 year old son. He's now 9 1/2 and he still LOVES it. His friends think it's really cool too. My 6 1/2 year old daughter also plays it and loves it too! This has been one of our favorite gifts to give. We have never had any problems with the batteries making contact. Adults enjoy playing also!! The Cosmic Catch is an ideal toy for teaching directions and honing listening skills, if you get one that works reliably. The one that I have used so far doesn't always turn on and turns off in the middle of play. Too bad cause I really liked it when it was demonstrated. I ordered 3. I hope I don't have the same experience with the other two.
