Okay, so I admit the idea of trying to match up four of your tokens and at the same time stop the other guy from doing the same may seem easy, dull and a little old. But if you really sit down and play this game (either as a kid or as an adult) and it is mesmirising and uncontrollably competetive. And, of course the most fun is to be had when the tokens fall from the bottom. But isn't packing up always the most fun?Customer Review: A blast from the past and lots of fun...

I owned this game when I was five years old and purchased it this Christmas for my six year old son.
Like most things, from games to Snickers bars, they have reduced the size and cut some corners, but all in all, this game is as much fun as I remember. My six year old loves it, as do my my older children. It teaches strategy and planning and sharpens thinking skills.
Pretty good value as well.

I remember years ago when I bought this very game for my boys one Christmas. I have pictures of them playing it, so it was a joy to buy it once again for my grandchildren. The premise is the same as tic-tac-toe, except you do it either straight or diagonally. The children do have to pay attention while playing this game. If they like checkers; they will love this one. My son (8 years old in 3rd grade) and I love this game! It goes quickly (maybe 5 minutes per game), and requires both players to formulate a strategy to win. This game builds math and geometry skills in children while they have fun! (Shhhh....They'll never know they're learning.) And the bonus is the quality time you get to spend with your child! Who could ask for anything more?
