Connect 4 is a marvelous game. Because of its vertical plane it teaches and forces one to think expansively rather than in traditionally expected paths. It also teaches quick aggressive thinking in that one must become a leader to win or a follower playing catch-up. At 78 I played it for the first time and because of its fast action, omni-directional advance thinking and playing, my mind felt awake and refreshed. An excellent mind game good for young and old.

I played this game when I was little and loved it. Never had a problem with the lever at the bottom that holds the checkers in. I bought this last year to play with my daughter. The slide lever at the bottom that holds the checkers in keeps sliding over during the game. So, every time we make a move, we have to push it to make sure it stays in place. If we forget, it starts to slide over and dumps all our checkers in the middle of a game. I threw it away.Customer Review: Fun, Easy Game

I had this game growing up and have played it with my children as well. My game from childhood is still in fine shape and was used regularly, but we took care of it and didn't fight over it or drop it. I can see how this game may break if misused a little. Anyway--it's a fun game and easy for little ones to pick up, but as other reviewers have said once you are well versed then it boils down to who goes first. This game is so much fun for the whole family. Unfortunately it's only a 2 player game, but children learn to share by waiting to play. My autistic son who also has cerebal palsy plays this with perfection! He's managed to beat me more times than I can count! Truly, this will give you a wonderful family experience you'll cherish forever! Plus if the little ones want to play real checkers but can't quite mange it, this is the perfect solution!Customer Review: Great fun and there is even a movie about it!!

Connect four has always been a favorite of mine since i was a little kid. It is a simple game with simple rules, but yet it is still a game of stratagey and can stump even most adults.
