This game is horrible. Remembering how much fun it was to play Clue when we were kids, I purchased the game for my daughter. However, it seems they tried to "update" the game. Not only did they change the names of the rooms, but they went and added all sorts of complicated "features", which make the game very difficult for children to play. Instead of a basic set of rules, like the original had, this has additional cards, spots and things which rather than make the game more interesting, simply make it difficult to play. Look for the "classic" version, which is the original, and skip this trash.Customer Review: Are you kidding me?

I'm all for updating a game, but man did they miss the mark. Getting rid of the lead pipe, revolver, and wrench in favor of...ahem...a dumbbell, a trophy and poison? It's not so much an update to the game as it is similar to one of their Hitchcock or Simpsons variants...in this case, it's basically a cast of reality show rejects. But calling this the new version of the game? My thoughts are that it won't be long before Mustard returns to being a colonel.

This game is very interesting and you can spend your all night on this with friends or family. The card is nice-looking but the only shortcoming is that the characters are presented just by 6 colored board rather than vivid person-like model. But that's not a big deal. And make sure your hands are not wet, or you will destroy the decent cards!Customer Review: Updated Clue

This plays a little differently than the old standard. It has an updated look with new rooms and more weapons and adds some other cards that allow you to peak at 1 card another person is holding, take 2 turns in a row and more. Still a classic and great fun to play. The price at Amazon was considerably less than from your local toy store.Customer Review: a classic

i love this classic game. although the original is always the best, this one's great too. and they didn't just update the weapons, etc, but they added in these cards that let you do special stuff. again, the original's better, but it's nice to change up the old stuff a little bit every once in a while.
