Start with the box. A wooden box has an appeal all its own. it will out last me. Now what is inside. The players are how I remember, colored pawns. Metal weapons, execpt the rope(plastic), cards and board have a nostalgiac look I find pleasant. The game itself? well if you haven't played Clue before you may have been raised by wolves in the wilderness. This is a great game for most all ages. Do a bit of sluthing finding out who did it. The play isn't so long that younger players get bored. Myself, I find it fun to watch the young players face light up when they have it figured out. A bit of thinking, and interaction with other people(no video controler, no batteries). I can play this on the boat, on the dock, at the camp ground, and even out on the patio at home. I don't think you'll go wrong with this one on your bookshelf.
