Customer Review: Too many added features!

After putting the game together we quickly realized it was a little too much for us. There are a number of added features that become confusing and muddles the game. We decided to throw out all the "extras" and play it like the original Clue game and then it became fun. But it was disappointing that the game makers felt they had to add to it to make it enjoyable. Our kids are 10 and 9 and both did not like the extra challenges at all.Customer Review: Family fun and educational

My 8 yr old son got this game for Christmas and we love it as a family. There are some creative changes from the original Clue game but still the same overall strategies. We definitely recommend this game! The only flaw is the house points that you get, they are easy to lose and when you run out you can ultimately lose the game. We decided to change that rule to losing a turn and not the game. Otherwise, a lot of fun!!

I loved playing Clue as a kid and my 7 yr old got into it recently. So this seemed like the perfect Santa present. Turns out "he" was right--disregard the 9+ age recommendation if you've got a smart child (brag alert). This is still Clue but with some fun additions--it's not terribly complicated (takes about a game to get the hang of it), it's great for HP fans, but it's still got the essence of Clue. I bought this for my family because we're love and clue and my preteen daughters also love Harry Potter. I was expecting just regular Clue with a Harry Potter on the cards. But no.. its got game new elements to it. Its more of a challenge and adds a new level to Clue. Its fun for the adult family members who are not familiar with HP even. Its great. We love it. This game is great. My 7 year old son plays it and thinks it's really fun. You really need at least 3 people to play and it takes about 45 minutes. I actually enjoy it much more than ordinary Clue and also think it is a fun game that is unexpected how you play. There are hidden passages that allow you to transfer from room to room and that makes it more fun. I would definitely recommend!
