Toys and Games Reviews of Chutes and Ladders Diego EditionCustomer Review: Revamped Classic Summary: 5 Stars
We love this Diego edition of Chutes and Ladders. My son is four and he does a pretty good job following the directions.. the only befuddling part is a long standing function of chutes and ladders, moving back and forth (changing directions at each level) across the board. It confuses my poor little sprout every time, especially if he goes up a ladder and is suddenly going the same way he was before instead of the opposite, like he would if he hadn't hit a ladder. lol. In any event, it's super and the characters are adorable and the board is adorable.
Customer Review: If Your Child Enjoys Diego They Will Enjoy This. Summary: 4 Stars
My 4 year old was super excited when I pulled this out the box and gave it to him. The pieces are not made from cardboard which I love so it can withstand the beating my year old is going to put it through. My son is good at counting so this helping him get even better and he just loves the chutes and ladders on the board. This is a great way to spend quality time with your child and help them learn at the same time!!!
Customer Review: Classic game, cartoon tie in Summary: 4 Stars
This is the classic Chutes and Ladders game that I had as a kid, but with characters from the popular cartoon. The Diego references made it appealing to my 4 year old - it's only his second board game. I think it's educational as he's learning to take turns, count, etc. The only thing I'd change is to make it more clear which square the ladders start on, but I remember that from the "classic" as well.
Customer Review: A new face on an old game Summary: 5 Stars
My whole family loved this game. I bought it specifically for my four year old to encourage him to play games with us. He loved it! Even better my teenage boys remember playing when they were young so they don't hesitate to play with him. Still a great game with a new look for the newest members of your family. Highly recommended!
Customer Review: Kids learn counting, following rules, and lots of fun too Summary: 4 Stars
Already a favorite in our household with our 4 year old boy. He likes to play with other kids and also with us (parents). Diego is a nice variation on the old classic.
The board is sturdy and the figures are cute - the squares could be a little bigger - but the graphics are nice.
