Customer Review: variations allow for children as young as 5 and 6 to play

There is no doubt this is a great game. However, I've found that my son who has been reading for about a year now, is also able to compete at this game. He is 6.We play the game the same in all respects, except for we see to it that all the letters are facing the same direction. Also, in figuring out who had the most words, any words that he found, we can't count on ours. This allows the game to be more fair with a young child playing.
As a matter of fact the little guy beat me tonight! We may have to play by regular rules from now on!

This simple 4X4 word game, Boggle, is a great way to interact with kids and adults of all ages. This was the first time I had purchased a previously owned game online. The condition was excellent but the timer was faulty. After notifying the seller via Amazon, she was willing to rectify it any way I wanted including a full refund plus postage. I ended up purchasing a timer for which she reimbursed me double my cost for the inconvenience. The seller was Anything's Possible. We just discovered this game during the Christmas season and played it non-stop for a month before we both agreed we need to take a break. It is challenging personally and competitively - it's never the same. It's also a quick game when you don't have a lot of time (you can agree to do just a certain amount of rounds or for a certain amount of time). We also take it with us on trips since it's easy to transport. We love it - it will become one of our "permanent" games that we will always play for future years.Customer Review: Family fun for all ages!

Boggle has bridges the family gap, It's always a unanimus decision to play Boggle. From the youngest to the oldest, it brings hours of fun and laughter to our family. For the little ones, it strengthens their vocabulary and spelling. When you think about it, it strengthens all of our vocabulary and spelling. It is extremly durable, from trips on planes, boats, and cars, it has held up. If you buy, one game this year, buy Boggle, It's perfect, fun and educational. Ok, maybe it's not quite as lofty as Scrabble, but this is one timeless and very fun game.It can be played with two people or more, has no set time limit or set finish point. It is played by all players at once, no taking turns like in some games where everyone else has to sit around and wait. Everyone plays off the same set of letters, so there is no difference in players chances for getting a good score, it's all skill.
This is one of my very favorite games. Highly recommended.
