This was a Christmas present for my 5 year old and SHE absolutely loves it. The doll has cute phrases that she says and my daughter likes responding to her. The doll only comes with 2 diapers and beware as soon as you put water into her mouth it WIll come right out. The last diaper we are trying to save, so every time she feeds her she just sits her on the potty and waits for her to go before she picks her up to play. I wish there was just a play mode w/o the potty and feeding because it is a hassle/mess. If my daughter didn't like it so much, I would return it. I can't image spending more money on diapers for the doll, not to mention it is bad for the environment. Grandma may have to make some cloth diapers. I would not waste your money on the food either, just use water.Customer Review: So much fun!

I got this for my daughter, who is 6. It is so much fun, and hilarious from an adult standpoint. It does not come with much food, but I just purchased a pack of preemie diapers at Wal Mart, and they fit even better than the Baby Alive diapers and are only $5. The food is expensive, too, but a little bit goes a long way. After a short time, Baby Alive will say "yucky" or "no thank you." She never ate the whole thing in one sitting, and we left it out on the counter and it lasted the day. I even had my daughter add a little bit more water to it to make it go even further. I had no issues with it getting stuck in the baby, and if you follow the directions and give her water (which she prompts you for when needed) there are no issues. Overall, this has been such a fun toy!!Customer Review: Don't buy this doll!

We received this doll for my almost 3 year old for Christmas...it is absolutely disgusting! I followed the instructions (alternate solid food/bottle) and we couldn't get the doll to poop or pee. After about two minutes of staring at the doll, poop and pee started pouring out of the diaper all over the floor....this disgusting green liquid spread out around the doll, and my daughter was horrified. Then we tried just plain water...the doll wouldn't pee, so I picked it up and it THREW UP all over the place! This thing is like the bride of Chucky!
As an added insult, the "food" stains! My hands were dyed a yellowish-green for the entire day!
My daughter was so excited to receive this toy, but ended up completely freaked out by it.

I got this doll for my 2 year old daughter to teach her to potty train. It was a great interactive doll, but almost too distracting to use for potty training. She was only interested in playing with the doll for the first couple of hours. I didn't try the baby food, I thought that was just too much mess. I was rewarding my daughter with fruit snacks for peeing in the potty, which she was then able to shove a whole fruit snack down her throat and lodge in the tube that connects with stomach. I tried to get it out, impossibly! I ran the dolls mouth under warm water to try and remove the fruit snack and wound up ruining the doll. My daughter's friend's had this doll. She watched them play with it and fell in love with the doll and all of the neat things she does. My daughter is ten and loves babies. The educational experience she is getting with this doll is invaluable. She feeds the doll, changes its diaper and rocks her. The smile on her face as she takes care of this doll is so precious. She saved her birthday money to make this purchase. We had shopped around and Amazon provided the best price, even with shipping costs. It was still far less expensive to purchase this doll through Amazon than at the other stores we had checked. Great experience! Would highly recommend buying this doll and using Amazon to purchase it.
