I bought Sorry for our family game playing nights and I am not disappointed at all. Our 5 year old is able to play along with us, and the game is easy enough to follow so that he has the chance to win also. We have had a great time with this game! I really enjoy this game when playing with young kids, however, that's about the extend of it. Too much of the game depends on raw luck and not enough of it depends upon skill or strategy.It's a fun party game, though, and it's one you can talk and yell through and not have to think too hard about.
I do recommend it for family fun, it's a decent game.

Even my 4-year-old can play this game with ease (albeit with someone older reading the cards until he got familiar with the rules). The skills required to play the game are skills that transfer easily to everyday life...decision-making, strategizing, taking setbacks in stride...plus it's tons of fun! Sorry! is a good game. However, there is not much to the game. In an age of internet games, X-Box, game cube, etc., this game does not have the same impact that it once did. The game is pretty durable. Keeping up with all the pieces is important since there are small pieces included. I bought this game for my "almost 5 year old" to grow into. To my surprise, she has caught on to all the nuances of this game and thoroughly enjoys sending my game pieces back to start. The game teaches losing gracefully (when your pieces are sent back), and also teaches the art of revenge! This game is definitely a favorite on family game night.
