This particular version of Scrabble has a great carrying case and superior playing board without costing an arm and a leg like other more highly structured editions. This board is compact storing tiles, tile boards in the handy all in one case. The playing area has the capability of keeping tiles in place, no slipping around if board is bumped; additionally board rotates easily. My family really enjoys playing on it. Thank you

We are a scrabble playing family. We have enjoyed the small travel scrabble extremely. This version is a great design with storage for tiles and their holders. This whole scrabble set up is great. There's no cardboard box to worry about. the playing board is the case. It has storage for the pieces. It's great to take along wherever you go.
The tiles are black with silver letters and a silver diamond shape on the back.

As always, Amazon came through for me, consistently the best prices, best shipping, and no-hassle to deal with. The game is perfect for what I needed, a Christmas present for one of my kids. He loves it, the wife loves it, and I can't win at Scrabble to save my soul.
