Love this game. Great for kids and adults. People with all levels of vocabulary can play and it's absolutely a way to improve on both vocabulary and spelling. Also a great way to bring people together.
Everything you need to have a good time is included here but I do suggest getting one of the many great Scrabble dictionaries to help you look up words, especially if you're looking at this game as an educational tool.

I liked this game at first, but then it became very very boring! It is fun to try and put all the letters together to form words but after about 15 minutes I stopped scoring and started wandering off. Everyone I have shared this game with got distracted after the first 10-15 minutes. It is an okay game but if I have a choice in what game I play or reccomend, I'd rather play solitare or something more stimulating and interesting.Customer Review: Great vocabulary game

I bought this gift for a friend and he loved it.. we spent hours trying to beat each other, and our vocabulary has definitely improved and it has sharpened our wits. The pieces are plastic and the board is okay--durability is not high but its a great game for young adults and grownups--every house must have one! I would have loved to have a score sheet-this lacks one and I would advice you to buy a sand timer too!Customer Review: A Pretty Good Classic

I think anyone should have a scrabble set lying around somewhere. It's a classic game and even though all these new games are coming out, it's still a great favorite. I think children and adults can pay and havea lot of fun. I still have ny first set from when I was a kid and enjoy playing with my friends and children. The tiles should be heavier or somthing so that the tiles don't move around on the board so much.Customer Review: One of the best board games ever created

I've been playing Scrabble since I was a kid and I never got tired of it!
This particular board is not the best available, but it's good enough for me since I play with adults most of the time, but if you have kids around, I suggest a better board since the tiles on this board can easily shift with the slightest bump.
It's fun, it's challenging, it's educational and suitable for all ages
