Scrabble is a beautiful game. You learn tons of new words (if you're really keen on winning) and how to use them and if you just want to have fun, it works just fine. The best part is when you have to take a chance. Play the word and it lands you on the tripple word score. But if its not in the dictionary, sorry! To avoid any confusion that may take away the fun, AGREE UPON A DICTIONARY BEFORE YOU START THE GAME! I love the Chambers Dictionary. Scrabble is a classic, fun for children and adults. The game's educational value is awesome because it provides a chance to get better at word-making from a luck-choice of letters. This game is good for family and friends. I love this game because the only luck of it is picking the letters which even makes it more educational. Scrabble is much more based on the skill of the players rather than the luck. If you are deciding to get it, I must tell you that you are making a good choice!Customer Review: What a wonderful game!

Scrabble is a wonderful game! It teaches elementary age children how to spell and make words. It also teaches adults. This game allows people to use their brains an awful lot to find words to place on the board. The wooden tiles are wonderfully durable, but be sure to keep them away from small children. The game board is pretty durable, but with smaller children around, it can be torn up easily. Over all, this is a wonderful game and a fabulous teaching tool. This is one of the best games of all time in my opinion; however, despite the advertising, the current product is of lesser quality than it has traditionally been. Specifically, the tiles are different now. The corners are no longer rounded, the wood seems to have less finish, and the tiles are not all exacly the same size. This does not change the entertainment value, the educational value, nor the durability of the game, but it does diminish the overall quality.Customer Review: Ahhhh...that is not a word! Inevitably someone thinks they have created a new word in the English language. To prevent people from getting a bit pushy, you might want to invest in a dictionary or you can have fun and let things slide. There are some people who will stop at nothing to create words, and that is what makes this game so fun. You will also learn words you never thought of in your life, or teach others a word or two. This is fun for all ages.
