Great game, great time, a Classic.Turn off the TV, get off the couch and play this game with your family. For that matter, play any game and turn off the TV.
The only trouble with Scrabble is that the nature of the game limits the amount of talking you do with each other, because everyone is concentrating on their letter rack.

A great way to pass time, teach kids how to spell and learn the meaning and purpose of words. Definatley to be played with a dictionary (I suggest the Oxford scrabble dictionary which not only tells you if words are valid but also gives their true scrabble score!) It's a good laerning curve but can cause lots of heated debate!!Customer Review: Pretty good

I love scrabble and am happy with this, but this game showsthat it is a [a cheap] toy. I was a bit surprised to find that the material used in this is not as "sturdy/good" as I expected. However, that is not to say that it is any less fun. In fact, I am happy to have got this game so cheaply. My wife and I love it.Customer Review: It is the most fun game I have ever played!!!

It is a fun, interesting, and educational game. First the fun part. You can laugh with your friends as you try to spell the largest word you possibly can. It is also educational for children because they learn how to spell better and learn new, excellent vocabulary. This game is highly recommended for kids and adults.Customer Review: Word Power

This is one of my favorite games. It is also an excellent way to enrich one's vocabulary. To this day I recommend using a dictionary when you play just to be sure no neologisms sneak in. Still, the extent to which other players will try to win can be as fun as the game itself. I love this game!
