If someone you know had solve the 3X3 so easy and consider that was never any challenge anymore. This would be a very good present for them.
When they solve this one, you could carry on with 5X5 and 6x6.
It would be very amusing to see their expression when they open the box.

I bought this cube because I can solve 3x3. This is really a good challenge, you get a lot of fun and you will not solve it so easy. I purchased this cube for my 12 year old after he solved the original Rubik's. My son found this cube is a little more difficult, but still easily solved using the formulas off the internet. FUN and challenging, no matter your age, this is entertaining if you like to solve puzzles.
If you are having trouble with reliability, you might check the game operator, I still have my Rubik's cube that I got when I was 8 years old, P.S. I'm now 44.

During my first solve, a piece popped and the entire thing fell apart. It was very difficult to put back together, so I simply returned. Also, the cube was very tight, and it was very difficult to move layers. I would recommend an Eastsheen cube instead.
