This 4x4 is really smooth and really fun!! It is also easy to take apart and put back together, but it only comes aprt if you WANT it to come apart. I noticed some people wrote that it "exploded", if that does happen, you can always look up on youtube.com on how to put it back together. It's really easy and really fun. I recomend getting it. It is a perfect addition to any rubik's collection!!Customer Review: Poor quality

The product appears to be intrinsically defective. The cube came apart soon after my daughter began to try to solve it. We thought the problem might have been isolated to the cube that we bought, but we had the same experience with the replacement cube. It was a very disappointing experience for my daughter, who was quite excited to face a new challenge with the Rubik's cube.Customer Review: A great challenge!

My 13 year old can solve the 3x3 cube in under a minute consistently, and was looking for a new challenge. I was happy to see this was only a few dollars more, and even happier it was made by Milton Bradley. It's been 4 days now and he cannot solve the 4x4 yet! It appears to be well made, and glide easily around the pivot. The price here on Amazon cannot be beat!Customer Review: Rubix Cube

What a blast from the past. Wonder toy!! Me and my husband played with these Rubix Cubes more than our kids do. And extremly durable. So far they have been tossed around and stepped on and just keep on taking the punch without a scratch or break to worry about. Such a fun game for the whole family. This is a little stiff until you play with it for awhile. Someone actually messed with it and a couple pieces fell off but it can be put back together. Putting it back together was almost as fun as solving it! Still a good puzzle and except for that one person yanking on the pieces it hasn't messed up since. Definite must have if you are a Rubik's fan!
