Hi, I got this for my son on his birthday, and he loved it. He already knew how to do the 3x3x3, so it was not too hard for him. There is another 4x4x4 from a different company, but I highly do not recommended it. I do say that it is very stiff in the beginning, but, if you put a lubricant in it such as vaseline or silicone, it moves incredibly fast. I think that this is a great toy that all people who like rubik's cube should get.Customer Review: The Worst I've Seen

It FELL APART IMMEDIATELY. I gave it to someone as a Christmas gift and it fell apart as soon as he opened it and tried to twist it. Literally with the first turn. It didn't even last a few days like the typical cheap toy. Unfortunately, he and his father couldn't put it back together. His mom gathered all the pieces in a box so I could RETURN IT. Now our running joke is this must be the "revenge" Rubik is talking about.Customer Review: Good, but could be better.

After learning how to solve the 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, I wanted to step it up. So, i bought the 4x4x4. It is great for casual solving and it does step up the challenge. I like it but it the layers seem to catch a lot when you turn them, which can get very frustrating. Even after lubricating the cube it still catches and it really just isn't ideal if you are trying to speedcube. Good, fun cube, but not the best I have seen.Customer Review: handle carefully - then ultimate thrill is your reward!

Of course you need to master the 3x3 first before you attempt to try the 4x4. And rotate very carefully, NOT suitable for speed solving. I'm already on my 2nd cube! But this 4x4 cube gives me unlimited fun. That's why I gave it 5 stars. I could spend hours and hours, trying different solutions. (I also own the 5x5, which is not much different in regards of difficulty and solution strategies.) You gotta have them both!Customer Review: Classic game! Tough, fun, how do they solve these things?

This is a classic rubiks cube game, a little harder then the ones with less rows. I can't solve any of them (other then the junior version), but it's fun to try.
I'm just not even sure how to begin solving this one, but it comes with a booklet of help. I just wanted to try for a while before using the book. If your into rubics cubes this is great. If your begining, try one with less rows first and then move up.
