The 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube is a great next step for those who can complete the 3x3x3. In fact, depending on how you solve the 3x3x3, the 4x4x4 can be very easy. Other than running into the Parity errors, you basically solve it like a 3x3x3. My only complaint is that it is not very durable. Because of all the moving pieces and different directions they can travel in, you have to be very careful with it or it will explode. My first one exploded because I did not have it aligned properly when I tried to turn a side. Anyway, I moving up to the 5x5x5 and would highly recommend this product.Customer Review: It is what it is.

I've own several Rubik's cubes (2 of which were the 4x4x4)all of mediocre quality. The revenge is mediocre product at best, rough turns, locking up, poor stickers. It cites a 1 star rating because of its extremely poor durability. Both of the ones I've owned lasted no longer than a few weeks until pieces started to break off. I implore those of you looking for a decent cube to look around the internet, this is one case where Chinese imitations are far superior to the original product. Shipping may take a while, but if you run across a brand such as "Eastsheen" get it.Customer Review: Great Cube, amazing challenge

This is a very high quality cube. I took it apart easily after using it for around thirty minutes and managed to lubricate it. After I lubed it, edge pieces started falling out, and that's the source of my 3/5 rating for durability, but it's definitely understandable. Another part of the bad durability rating is the difficulty of turning the cube quickly, but that isn't very bad - I've been practicing for two days and already have a record of 124 seconds. Not too hard to solve, but not too easy. Great price as well; a definite "Yes!" from my perspective.Customer Review: Good quality, fast shipping

I was reluctant to buying the toy due to some negative feedback but it's been over a month and a lot of cubing and it's still whole and going. If you don't force it and abuse it it'll hold and not explode in your face:) The only thing that I wish the makers would do is make the cubes permanently coloured....after a lot of cubing one of the yellow stickers is starting to peel off...
I would reccommend this product because it's a lot of fun and the seller was really fast with sending it

The internet in general is great, and amazon.com the BEST! When my son began collecting the larger Rubik's cubes last Christmas, this made the job so much easier. Not one retailer in the whole St. Louis area ever carries any that are larger than 3 X 3, and we didn't really want to deal with an overseas company, so Amazon.com saved us again! Get the 4 X 4 and 5 X 5 at a low price, free shipping, and that part of Christmas was soooo easy!
