Toys and Games Reviews of Operation Rescue UnitCustomer Review: New Twist, Old Favorite Summary: 4 Stars
They made some great improvements to this old staple. The parts and slots to pull them out of are more interesting and updated. The buzzer is less startling, though getting a jolt from the noise was sort of fun. They have added three new games to play. At first it is complicated to figure out the way the light works and how to program the players into it before each game. The kids also didn't really want to wait to learn each game. Once we learned them we just gave direction during the game and they caught on quickly. Honestly though, we just all wanted to try pulling out the pieces without complicating it. It is still fun - in short bursts.
Customer Review: Great family fun! Summary: 5 Stars
I never played the original operation, but Operation rescue unit is great fun! I have 4 children, ages 11, 9, 7, and 2. It's nice to find a game that they can all play together. My 2 year old of course doesn't understand the rules but he quite enjoys trying to pick up the pieces withbthe tweezers and he loves the buzzer and light up nose! I also enjoy playing this game and with 4 different game choices and 3 skill levels I doubt this game will get boring anytime soon.
Customer Review: Operation Game -- Not Just For Kids! Summary: 5 Stars
This game is a hoot. I couldn't rate the educational value because it was purchased as a silly gift for a surgeon friend's 60th birthday. It's a fine game to play after a few cocktails to see which "surgeon" still has the steady hand. I'm sure children would get a kick out of playing it, too. Batteries aren't included.
Customer Review: Louisiana Grammie Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this for two grandsons and they love to play with it. I am going to toss my older version of Operation and purchase one to keep at our home for when any of the grandchildren come over. Fun for all ages. (Not under 3 yrs. old.....too many small pcs.) I really like the way this one stores everything.
Customer Review: Family Fun Summary: 5 Stars
Great game! It is easy to travel with and keeps all the pieces nice and neat inside. A nice new electronic spin to the original..makes family time great. Not as hard as it used to be either for those that have children like my son that gets easily frustrated if you don't get it on the first try! lol
