I bought this as a gift after many years of enjoying regular catchpharse. Its a great party game. But I think the 12 and up age is too young. I think (or thought) my friends and I are pretty knowledgeable in music... especially 80s music, but there are a lot of songs on the game we had never heard of. Its still a blast especially if you know the song and can sing some lyrics. You find out a lot of times you know a song but can only sing the title. This game is fun again and again. I've played this game with different groups of people ages 24-40 and people love it! The game is durable because the way it gets pounded and passed around when people get excited speaks volumes about it's durability. Educational value? It helps people improve communication skills and hopefully learn how to be good winners and good not winners :) It's a lot of fun!Customer Review: not what I expected

Never having played with a catch phrase game, I thought the music edition played a bit of the tune of each song. All the display shows is the title of the song and the artist. Customer Review: More for the older childern or adults

This one is alittle harder than the other Catch Phase game. I think this one is for an older crowd. We had fun but took longer to get the right answers.
