Toys and Games Reviews of Cinderella's Enchanted Slipper GameCustomer Review: Great game for girls Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this game to entertain my girls during our summer at home. Both my 3 and 5 year olds LOVED it. It is an interesting, yet simple to understand concept. My 3 year old was a little distracted waiting for her turn, but loved every chance she got to press the magic slipper. Only drawback is that there is no "game box" to store in. We just use the box it came in, but it's not designed for that purpose. I thought the game was a bit expensive to have no storage for pieces, etc. This would be a fantastic birthday gift for girls 3-8.
Customer Review: Perfect for the Almost 6 year old Summary: 4 Stars
Daughter saw it on the website before Christmas - it has been a big hit ever since Santa dropped it off.
Fortunately, it's not too bad for Mom & Dad as well - but it would be nice if we could muffle the overly loud slipper sound... I was on the phone when my child set it off and my friend said "Good Lord what was that sound? I couldn't hear anything but that - sounded like unicorns invading."
Yep. Unicorns invading.
But unicorns that make my daughter happy and don't make me want to pull my hair out.
Customer Review: Game drags on.... Summary: 2 Stars
After reading all of the positive reviews I decided to purchase this as a Christmas present for my four year old. The game was a hit at first simply because it was "princess". But after playing this game several times you realize that there just aren't enough chances to "push the slipper". You keep landing on draw cards spots which you've already acquired the cards for. So you keep going around the board with nothing to do. The game drags on for both adult and child. Needless to say this game is not played very often.
Customer Review: Nice step up from Candyland Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my daughter (3yrs old) who has enjoyed simpler board games such as Candyland. This is her first dice-driven game where she has to count the spaces and meet objectives. She loves Cinderella, and there are enough opportunities to reverse your fortune in this game that it keeps the adults entertained as well. This game has broadened her game playing abilities and given her a new avenue for social interaction. It's been a big hit, being played several times every day since we got it.
Customer Review: Fun with Nana Summary: 4 Stars
This game was purchased for my 3 yr. old granddaughter and 4 yr. old grandson. This game includes counting spaces dots on dice and choosing cards. We had much fun with this game. Because of my grandchildren's attention span, we pooled the cards we earned. Then, when someone could touch the magic slipper, we all decided which card to turn over. That way, we worked together to win the game. Also, when the game became too long, we left the pieces as is and then resumed later.
