I bought this for my Grandsons ages 5 & 3. I first purchased the basic set & then went on and purchased the extension set. It provides hours of fun & challenges for the boys. My daughter (their Mom) has configured the set in many different ways & they love playing with it. I hope to add on to the set in the near future.
