Customer Review: Lacks durability, but appealing to kids

Like many other reviewers here, I was sorely disappointed with the durability of this vaccuum. However, even with broken pieces and some features being essentially useless, my kids still like to play with this vacuum, so it's not a total failure.
Negatives:
Front piece broke off after just a few uses
Wheels fall off
Hose broke off of the handle piece
My children cannot remove the hose/handle to use with attachments without adult help (and at times it's difficult even for me).
The attachments do not stay in place - in fact, I think we've lost all of them because there's no way to effectively keep them with the main unit
Suction is so weak, that feature is essentially useless
The switch to operate the suction feature and canister is difficult for young children to operate. My kids often leave the vacuum running because they cannot get the switch into the "off" position. This leads to drained batteries very quickly.
Positives:
Even with all of the above issues, my kids still like to "vacuum" with this toy. Most toys are unusable when they break so easily. This one still retains some entertainment value...but not as much as an adult would expect, knowing the features that are supposed to be available.
For the brief time that all of the features were functional and nothing was broken, my daughter couldn't get enough of this toy. It certainly has great potential, if only improvements in design and construction were made.
