This puzzle is great! It is good fun for the entire family. I bought most of the level 6 cast puzzles that hanayama toys company makes, and I can tell you that I liked this one the best. It took me a couple of hours over several days, to take it apart. Putting it in place was no easy task too and it wasn't until the fourth or fifth taking apart, that I was able to understand and remember the flow - what that means is that you can have fun playing with it more than just once. Bottom line: if you want to stimulate some good brain activity, get that puzzle.
Description of Cast Enigma - Hanayama Cast Metal Puzzle
Take the 3 parts apart and put it back to the original shape, that is the objective of this great metal puzzle. A word from the designer: "Patented in America in 1975, the somewhat swirled pieces of this puzzle by Eldon Vaughn must be disjoined and then put back together. I once found a smaller version of this puzzle about twenty years ago in America, but considered it impossible to solve at the time. We have made a new version maintaining the difficulty of the original and licensed it for the Cast Puzzle series. This is without a doubt among the most difficult of all puzzles.
