Customer Review: Choking Hazard for Our 8 Month Old

We received this toy as a gift when our baby was 6 months old and she loved it! Hands down her favorite rattle. However, this past week we left her playing with her toys for a couple of minutes and in the time we were gone she had managed to remove the center bar and all of the little rattle pieces. It was a miracle that she didn't choke on any of the pieces. I'm not sure how she managed to remove it because when I tried, it required some strength to remove, but clearly she was able to do it. We had put the rattle in the dishwasher so I'm not sure if this compromised the glue's integrity, but since I'm pretty sure we aren't the only people who would do that I just wanted to give everyone a head's up about our experience.
