When our baby was 2.5 months old, he would lay down under his activity gym and swat at Max. When our LO realized he could grasp, he pulled at Max's ring and entertained himself for quite a while. Now that our LO is pulling on toys with both hands, he loves stretching Max more than ever. Highly recommended for fun and safe entertaining - no plastic!Customer Review: Great quality

This makes a really pleasant, delicate, clacking sound. It's durable, the wooden stain stays brightly colored and is non-toxic, and you only have to wipe it with a damp cloth to clean it. It was even cuter in person than in the picture and it made my 3-month-old sons smile and reach forward. Total winner.Customer Review: SO CUTE!

Loving this little rattle! I don't understand why other companies don't make more toys like this! The colors are fun, size is perfect for little hands, the wood is highly durable and will last for YEARS, and I LOVE the fun little clicky sound the discs make! My year old grandson loves Max. The wooden toy feels good in your hands. The paint does not chip. Max is extremely well made. the only negative is when he throws Max down from upstairs because he likes the noises Max makes as he lands on the tile below. My 6 month old loves Max!! It took a while for him to take to it, we've had Max for about 2 months and the last few weeks my son has really preferred him over almost all his other toys. It is a great durable and safe toy, we love it! I think the only toy he loves better is "Gnon".
