I bought it well before my baby girl was born 'cause it looked good and had lots of good reviews. Now she's 9 month old and this toy remains one of her favorite. She started playing with it probably within 3-4 weeks after she was born. The surface is so nicely polished, the wood is warm in the hands, two little wood rings create a little calming sound and run around the big circle, the rainbow part is flexible... All these features were carefully explored by my little baby month after month. Even now, I often find this rattle in her hand when she falls asleep. This ring was the first toy our baby grasped at 2.5 months of age. I held it up for him, he grasped it and stuntedly shook it up and down then attempted to put it in his mouth. A month and a half later he still goes for this ring and chews on it, shakes it and tries to pull it apart with both hands (one on each side pulling outward). It is well made and I feel confident I am giving him something safe to play with. This ring, the waldorf maple teether ring and Sophie the giraffe are his favorite three items to chew on and we highly recommend all three to ensure variety.Customer Review: Fun rattle

This is a beautiful toy. I don't have to worry about the paints used and I love that it isn't plastic. The white part is inflexible while the colored section is. The rattle sound is gentle and my four-month-old daughter likes to swing the toy back and forth. Plus it has a great name! :) However, I was hoping it would be a good chew toy and it hasn't been. It's a good size for grabbing but a little big (diameter of ring and diameter of the wood) to stick in her mouth comfortably. I gave this toy to my 3 month old and for the last two and a half months it has been his favorite grasping and teething toy. He will reject any plastic or iced teether, but loves to gnaw on this one. He also really enjoys shaking it as the blue rings will rattle. It is a very attractive toy and so far seems durable (I have tried pulling pretty hard at the segments and they really hardly move.) This is definitely our favorite toy at 5 months and I would recommend it to anyone with a baby.Customer Review: Excellent quality

My 4 month old son loves this toy. He's not teething yet, but loves to chew on it and shake it. This was the first toy he would hold onto. I recommend this kringelring or another HABA toy in which there are many of this style to choose from. I feel much better knowing its made in Germany and is completely non-toxic and safe. I will only buy natural products after doing much research. Keep your babies safe and buy quality products and not cheap alternatives.
