I purchased this clock for my 6-six year old daughter. She was very excited to receive it and it seemed great until we realized it didn't keep time! I would re-set the time, thinking maybe she had touched the buttons and changed the time by accident, but no. I watched it go from 12:59 one minute right to 1:12 the next minute. As I was re-setting it, there was no 10:00. It was constantly reading anywhere from 12-1:00 or 4-5:00, and that was it. It's not easy having to take away a gift from a 6-year old to send back. I read the reviews before purchasing, and I guess I was one of the few lucky ones who got the clock that didn't work. I am not taking a chance on ordering another. I think we'll just get something different. It was very disappointing because it was a very cute clock and the radio worked fine.Customer Review: Cute clock

Bought this for my daughter, who was barely 4 years old at the time. This clock was on clearance for only about 13 bucks at a Target! So, I'm glad I paid that price, because I wouldn't have bought it at the price listed on here (almost 30 bucks). The little lime on the side lights up yellow, which is cute, my daughter has to have it on at night, but it doesn't give much light at all, i wouldn't recommend it being the only nightlight in the room lol the little sliders for the off/on section, by the lime can come off...she has had it for about a year and I found the piece missing and found it on the floor in her room. The radio works pretty well and is pretty loud. It was a nice touch for my daughters room.Customer Review: Buyer Beware! Clock doesn't work

We bought this for our 4 year old daughter's birthday. Cute clock - she loved it. We set the time initially and that worked okay. However later on the time had changed and was off by 5-6 hours. We tried to re-set the time but it wouldn't change at all. It was a similar experience to what g_mom's review was. We ended up just throwing it away (we had thrown the packaging out of course so couldn't return it). It wasn't fun having to take it away from our daughter either. This is a piece of junk - if you do decide to buy it make sure you save the packaging so you can return it.Customer Review: Very satisfied with product

I was very happy with the Hello Kitty alarm clock. I bought it for my daughter and it was exactly as advertised. The cute little lemon wedge acts as the nightlight.It is rather dim, but I guess it's supposed to be.The base of the clock is a small pink saucer which lends to the appearance of a tea-cup.Overall it seems very sturdy & well made. There are no loose buttons or fragile parts. The little pink buttons on top are radio and alarm settings.Any daughter, neice, or other girl in your life would be thrilled with this clock-radio, nightlight. I love this clock--it's a cute and creative design, and I particularly love that the lemon slice is functional. The Hello Kitty figure makes a great snooze button!
One thing I wish this clock had is a brighter nightlight--it's not quite bright enough to read by without straining your eyes. However, since most clocks don't even have lights at all, I don't consider it a significant drawback. It's good for finding things in the dark without disturbing roommates or partners.
