Toys and Games Reviews of STAR WARS ATTACK OF THE CLONES " COUNT DOOKU " w/ HOLOGRAPHIC EMPEROR MOC

Customer Review: Not bad, but could have been a lot better.
Summary: 3 Stars

These built in action features are ruining quite a few of Hasbro's new Star Wars figures. Case in point: Hasbro gives up quite a bit of play value for Dooku's slashing feature. His arms are stiff, and only one wrist can move. While the feature is indeed one of the better ones to be found, I am wishing for a figure with better articulation as opposed to a swinging arm. Dooku comes with a cape that won't stay on, a green lightsaber from a scene that was cut, a small Darth Sidious Hologram, and his own curved saber -however, it is the only saber in this line without a removeable blade, plus the hilt is plastic. This makes sense however, since this is the saber used to chop away at opposing action figures. The removeable sabers would become damaged quickly, as seen in the Mace Windu figure. Off course, the saber doesn't stay in his hand half the time, and flies out while he chops away. Use one of those clear rubberbands found in the packaging of these figures to keep the weapon from flying out. It's a decent figure, but looks better on a wall as opposed to opened and on display. For real play value, pick up the new Darth Tyranus figure coming out in 2003.

Customer Review: Vaguely Disappointing
Summary: 3 Stars

Count Dooku made a big impression on me; It was just SO COOL to see Christopher Lee (I'm a HUGE fan from when I was just a kid!) fight Yoda....So I'm excited to have the opportunity to own some Dooku toys. I just wish they were a little better looking......

The Count comes with two Lightsabers (His crooked one, and a green one); Squeezing his legs makes him slash the red blade up and down, which makes him look like he's disco-dancing. His face has a weird look on it- He looks like his cat just died or something. (I don't remember Dooku looking sad at all in Attack of the Clones!) He's virtually impossible to stand up (A common complaint I have with many of the new Star Wars figures!), and his cape just WILL NOT stay on by itself. You do get a cool-looking little Darth Sidious hologram figure, though. Cool, but I'm hoping future Dooku figures will be better.

Customer Review: What a great figure from Attack of the Clones!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This figure is excellent! I am a big fan of Christopher Lee and I just love the awesome fact that the man is in Star Wars! Hasbro always does a good job getting the likenesses in MY opinion and this figure of Count Dooku/Lord Darth Tyranus is right on! I have Toy Biz`s version of Christopher Lee as Saruman from their Lord of the Rings series`. That figure is excellent and fans of that figure be sure to get this verion Mr.Lee as it is alot smaller but is just as good as the LOTR figure. This figure by Hasbro is excellent and he has his cool curved lightsaber and another that he uses the force with via a magnet.

TIP: This Count Dooku figure looks great displayed with the other 3/34 inch Hasbro figures of Darth Vader,Darth Maul, and Darth Sidious/The Emperor Palpatine!

Customer Review: A Must-Have
Summary: 5 Stars

Excellent character, good figure, and a must-have for an EpII collection. My only gripe is the paint. I had a hard time finding this one, probably because it's part of collection 2 and they are just starting to find their way to the shelves. Because of the bad paint, I typically compare 4 or 5 of the same character and select the one that has the best paint job. Since I could only find 1 of these Count Dooku figures, I had to get it even though the paint is bad. His facial expression looks surprised rather than evil because his eyebrows are painted too high up. I may get another one later. Despite the bad painting apparent on all EpII figures, this is a good figure and a must-have for fans.

Customer Review: Dooku: dumb name, awesome figure and awesome actor
Summary: 5 Stars

I found this one with Hangar Duel Anakin after I criticized the Force flipping Dooku at a store I had just come from. I got both Anakin and Dooku. Dooku has amazing detail, except with the face. He looks as if he's about to cry instead of looking menacing. He has a saber slashing feature, which reminded my mom of Travolta doing "Stayin' Alive", which my family thought was funny. He comes with a cape, his awesome curved handled saber, a hologram of Sidious, and a green lightsaber. I read that a scene in the movie was cut showing Dooku trying to fend off Yoda with his and Anakin's green saber at the same time. This figure is a must have, so get him if you see him.
