Wow this toy is dissapointing! I always know the commercials make things look better than they actually are, but this hit WAY off the mark. The frosting comes out like a blob, after several frustrating minutes of cramming enough frosting into the one cupcake at a time tube. This was the BIG toy my seven year old asked Santa for this year, and will probably hit the garbage before next Christmas...I wouldn't dare subject anyone else to this frustration. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Instead, buy a basic cake decorating kit from your local craft store, for more fun and versatility.Customer Review: Avoid at all costs!

This was a santa gift for my 8 y/o daughter. She used it for 5 minutes and said "They didn't show how dumb it was on TV." We were unable to produce one cupcake that was decorated anything like advertised. The tiny plunger used to hold the frosting had to be loaded for each cupcake and did not cover 1/2 the cupcake-loading the plunger took longer than anything else (except washing up all the pieces). The product was so disappointing - I hesitate sending it to the thrift store!Customer Review: Waste of Money

This was such a waste of money. My 6 year old wanted this for christmas after seeing it on TV. It was a terrible disappointment. The frosting does NOT come out the way you see it on television. We used it again yesterday and it just does not work properly. Clean up is a pain, filling the frosting into the tube is a pain..terrible product. I would NOT buy this-I wish I had read the reviews before I told my mom to get it for Christmas. Terrible gift.Customer Review: A disappointment

this toy is a big disappointment. My daughter was so excited to try this out. She enjoyed mixing the batter and making the cupcake, which was lobsided when it came out of the microwave. But the worst of all was the icing. Once you put it in the syringe like apparatus, it just starts coming out and makes a big mess and the cupcake barely gets any icing on it. my little girl was very sad that it wasn't like it shows on tv. I bought this for my daughter for christmas last year, I have only allowed her to play with it once, it is so messy, the way it is made I don't think there is a way to make the cupcakes with out mix and frosting getting everywhere. there was more frosting on the table and on her than on the cupcakes. The mixes are gritty and taste bad. She has fun using it, but I don't like cleaning up after it!
