My niece was thrilled to receive this on Christmas morning. She rushed to get online to register her pet but the webkinz site was down. I guess because of way too much traffic. She was not deterred and got to it later.
The animal was cute, furry and pulled on the heartstrings of the young ones. What more do you really want from a toy. The virtual reality is good only if the child participates actively. If they are not so inclinded then the toy is just a cute stuffed animal. Have fun!

IF you know about webkinz, you might know about the e-shop (a online store where you can buy overly priced anamated items, and pets with out a stuff animal). People are taking avantege of others when they sell there anamated pets on ebay for more than they are worth. I just wanted to tell you all that you can buy this pets on the e-shop for $12.50, the speical pets(like the floral fox) are sold on certant days,like webkinz Wednesday,surprise Saturday,and super Sunday.Customer Review: Send This Pooch Back to the Pound!

Never again! Overpriced stuffed animal with pass to virtual world. In order for my kid to earn points to "purchase" items for the mutt she had to answer 100 questions with a time limit to each question. So overwhelming for her. Then, when we tried to log on after creating her profile and that whole deal, we couldn't even access her account (no idea why; I am not a totally hopeless chimp when it comes to computer problems). This little Chihuahua Webkinz has sparked a family game in our home. Even our 3 year old is learning how to use the computer with the delight of the Webkinz World. We now own 8 Webkinz, and we've given 4 away as gifts as well. Webkinz is a way for kids and parents to connect with each other, for kids to learn how to navigate the internet (SAFELY!!!) and "teach" Moms how to use the computer. Whoever came up with Webkinz is a genious...or a really big kid at heart!Customer Review: Great Christmas Gift

This was a great gift for my niece who loves animals. Amazon carries the unique ones that you dont usually see. This is one of three that I bought her. I checked the webkins when they came in the mail to see what all the rave was about because I was like, its just another stuffed animal. Right? But they are actually very nicely made and thier limbs and things move more like a beanie animal. Very cuddly as she put it.
