My preteen granddaughter is the "user" of this product, and loves it. She is a budding collector, and is taking good care of the product. When it comes to plush toys, I'm pretty sure that the educational value is more in the affective area, so I find it hard to rate--thus the 3 stars. This adorable little stuffed hound will certainly delight anybody who loves and/or has a beagle. I have a beagle and so it comes as no surprise that I would find this toy appealling.
The Webkinz site is a good one for families - it is all about harmony and cooperation. I give this a very high rating.

The kids just love these, they can hardly wait to get their newest pet, so they can get the tag off the stuffed animal and register it online. Once online they can interact with their new pet and all previous webkinz. Hours of online fun and games, plus they have a cute stuffed animal to play with as well.Customer Review: So cute!!!

My 5 year old son sleeps with this puppy every night. It is his favorite thing in the world. It hasn't shown any signs of wear at all. The code was accurate to get onto the webkinz website and "play" with the puppy online. A great toy for kids and would make a great gift too.Customer Review: Webkinz Beagle

He is absolutely gorgeous. I bought the Beagle for my 9 year old for Christmas this year. I know she will love him/her, as we have a Beagle for a pet. She already has the black lab and Clydesdale horse. I have also purchased the Husky for Christmas as well.
