First I would like to mention that I am 12, just so you know.
My Beagle is 6.5 inches tall and 8 inches long. It's pretty cute and very soft. If you don't know what webkinz are a strongly recommend that you go to webkinz.com and take the tour. Now I'll tell you about the webkinz site. I find that webkinz is very fun. There are lots of games to play to earn kinzcash(Webkinz money), there are clothes to by for you pets, the clubhouse to make new friends(It's very kid safe), jobs to do, and a number of other things! Webkinz is also fairly educational. One of the games involves typing, another is a bit like scrabble for kids, and one of the easiest ways to make money is by answering questions on different subjects such as math, art, language, and science(There are age groups). As for durability, I've had my webkinz for two weeks and have had fun playing on webkinz everyday. Oh, one more thing. buying a webkinz allows you to play on the site for one year then you have to buy another webkinz. So overall I give the webkinz Beagle 4 stars and think that kids ages anyway from 6-15 would enjoy this Beagle. I hope my review has helped you decide whether or not you want to get the the webkinz Beagle.
Customer Review: There's nothing like watching a 7-year old with a Webkinz

I recently got to spend some time with my 7-year old niece and watched her "wax lyrical" about how much she loves her Webkinz (she has three of them!). She took me over to the computer and showed me how the computer part works with the beagle Webkinz she named "Sam". I watched her zip around the computer playing all sorts of games to "make money" to pay for the food, clothes, and treats for her "pet".
The game teaches kids some of the responsibilities of having a pet (like making sure they get fed, taking them for a walk, spending time playing with them, etc.) while teaching computer skills at the same time. The carnival-like environment where they play games to make money for their pet is fun and provides enough variety to keep them coming back day after day.
I'd highly recommend Webkinz for any child who loves toy animals and wants to gain further experience on the computer.

I'm not sure how her parents felt about it in the long run, but our granddaughter was delighted with the Webkinz animals we have bought for her. Many of her friends had them before her, so I think our son and daughter-in-law knew that it was inevitable that Sarah would one day be on the Webkinz band-wagon. They are like potato chips ... once they have one, they can't stop there! LOL
The interesting difference between these stuffed toys and the mudane is that each toy gives you a membership on the Webkinz website. There the "owner" can care for a digital version of the toy in various ways, and earn web site hosted upgrades for it.
If not abused the toys are quite durable, and this is a long lasting point of interest for a child compared to many "one and done play" types of toys.

This was my daughters choice for her webkinz. I have to say he's pretty darn cute. My daughter is hooked on webkinz and I might be a little too. The website is great with loads of games the kids can play (and learn on some of them I might add). Also having your own "house" is great fun for my daughter. It seems as if she spends all her money on clothes for her Beagle. Even though he never seems to be wearing any. What I love the most is his garden he had growing out in the backyard. Where you water, weed and harvest your fruits and veggies. How cute! She wants another for Christmas so they can all "live" together. I bought this for my daughter when I couldn't find one around our home town. So, I ordered it thru the internet and Amazon. It was one of her favourite gifts! Not only can she cuddle with him, but she goes on the Webkinz website and creates a room for her virtual pet, and plays educational games that will build up W-$ for her to buy things for her pet!! She really enjoys playing on the website and she sleeps with the beagle every night! I even went and bought a chocolate lab webkinz for my son who is 3. He and his sister have a good time playing on the website and carrying their pets wherever they go!
