Customer Review: A great strategic tile game

I bought this game for my daughter and I to play about three years. We played the game a lot and she loved it. The basic premise is simple: you try to build roads or rivers that link the the four sides of a six-by-six tile area together. You can try to score points by making ponds and rivers, turning over animal tiles and putting gnomes next to each other.
The best part of the game is the design. It is simple and colorful, but full of enough magical creatures to keep the imagination flowing. My daughter and I played the game for quite a while before it ended up back atop the closet.
It is now three year later and my daughter (now almost ten) wanted to play the game. We took it out of the closet and started playing. She enjoyed it as much as she did when she was six. And (not to my wife's surprise), I did also.
This is one of those great simple games that compel you to play over and over again. Don't neglect this game if you don't have any kids. It is simple enough for adults!
