Toys and Games Reviews of Gamewright Hisss Card Game, the Colorful Snake-Making Card GameCustomer Review: hisss is fun and easy Summary: 5 StarsMy 4 and 7 year old enjoy playing this together. It is a simple game but still fun for both of them. The cards and box are very durable which I appreciate as well!
Customer Review: Hiss is great for preschool children Summary: 5 StarsMy 3.5 yr old got this game for xmas and caught on (including connecting 2 existing snake chains) after playing 2 times. He loved it and played it at least 6 times (with various adults ... life of an only child :))This game does not require any reading - just ability to follow simple rules, take turns, match colors, and count. I would say that some 2-yr-olds can even play this. It comes in a small, portable box and the cards are nice and thick - perfect for taking on family vacations. The only 'con' is that playing does take a lot of space, so we usually play on the floor and it's definately not a game you can play in a car or plane.
Customer Review: Hissstory Summary: 5 StarsMy four year old son and I play this game every night and he has learned progressively over the time we have been playing (about 6 months). He now knows to look for what cards have already been used and how to "count" cards. Watch out Las Vegas!
Customer Review: Great for both kids AND adults! Summary: 5 StarsWe brought this for my son's 6th birthday among other higher ticket items and this is the one that's been played with the most! His mom and aunt & uncle (ages 38 - 52) played long after the kids went to bed and had a blast hissing and laughing! I think I will definitely buy a second set so we have more cards to add to the fun. This is one game you won't mind playing with the kids. Great game with easy rules, good for learning strategy and color matching.
Customer Review: Wonderful game! Summary: 5 StarsThis is a great game for young children. The game moves quickly, and our son (age 4) really has to look and think about where the card should go. It also teaches good turn taking skills. I highly recommend this game for children ages 4-12 and adults.
