Customer Review: Best Game For the Kids By Far
Summary: 5 Stars
Hisss is the perfect game for the 3-5 year old range. My girls absolutely love it. It is simple enough for a 3 year old to play, but still exciting enough to hold my 5 year old's attention. No crazy rules, fumbling with cards in their hands, spinners, etc. Hisss is just a simple game of color/pattern matching with easy rules and surprisingly addictive game play.
My 2 girls have probably logged 50 hours or more of play time between them and still ask for it all the time. It is one activity they can do together without fighting. Plus, it reinforces matching skills. It is the perfect game for that rainy day when you're struggling to keep the kids busy.

Coming to a plane (floor or table top) near you is likely the most fun and simple game you could ever play with your young children. I bought this based on the customer reviews and have had many hours of fun playing this game with my two young sons.
The game graphics are colorful and cute, and the game play reinforces matching, logic, and counting skills. Set up and clean up are just a few seconds each.
My only critique is that there should be more heads and tail cards, but like one reviewer wrote, one can always buy a second set. I'll likely be doing that soon, because I think we'll be playing this for a while.

My 3.5 yr old got this game for xmas and caught on (including connecting 2 existing snake chains) after playing 2 times. He loved it and played it at least 6 times (with various adults ... life of an only child :))This game does not require any reading - just ability to follow simple rules, take turns, match colors, and count. I would say that some 2-yr-olds can even play this. It comes in a small, portable box and the cards are nice and thick - perfect for taking on family vacations. The only 'con' is that playing does take a lot of space, so we usually play on the floor and it's definately not a game you can play in a car or plane.Customer Review: My 5-year-old loves it

A simple color matching game that has the players making long and short snakes. Enough luck that you can play with your kids and you both have a chance at winning. There are a couple of special snake parts that my kid really wants to get for herself that adds to the interest. It only takes about 30 seconds to explain the rules. The game pieces are printed on heavy card stock and are very durable. However, about half of my cards had a shift in color shade. This didn't affect the game in any way, but just didn't look good. Anyway, my 5-year-old loves this game. I recommend the game to those in that general age category.Customer Review: simple, yet great

We received this game as a gift last Christmas and at first I was concerned that it was too simple, yet we continue to play it probably weekly. It's simplicity allows very young kids to play (Box says 4+), but we played with a 2 1/2 year old with only a bit of help. Granted, there aren't too many actually choices to make, but our family (also a 6 1/2 yo, now) has fun with it. A side bonus is that the snakes are actually sort of pretty because of the nice color choices made by the designers. Now we buy it for families with young kids. Not a problem for us, but it does require floor space to play.
