Customer Review: BEWARE - Still can't assemble, original parts faulty, replacement parts faulty

My 3.5 year old received this for Christmas. We were not able to assemble it because one of the frame sections was missing a critical drill hole to connect it to the rest of the frame, rendering the entire thing unable to be assembled. I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement via their 800 number the day after Christmas - no answer, no voicemail. I emailed them my request and received the correct replacement part - however, the part they shipped me is also defective in a completely different way (the folding leg does not come even close to clicking into place, leaving the entire unit, again, unusable). Call me crazy, but I again contacted the manufacturer and requested a third piece from them. Unbelievably, the THIRD attempt at getting a functional piece failed for a third distinct reason - now the drill holes are located on a different face of the tubing and incompatible with the rest of the trampoline parts.
The manufacturer has been prompt but clearly is not capable of resolving this issue.
I'm very dissatisfied with this trampoline and will most likely return the whole thing for a totally different one from a different manufacturer.

It was quite the pain to put together. However, you can purchase replacement bungees (though ours shows no wear and tear at two months of vigorous use- when I was shopping no other models had available replacement parts. When the kiddo really gets into the jumping and holds the bar, it does tend to "buck" a little, and she is only 27 pounds. I imagine it would tip worse for a bigger child. As a heads up, the bar is pretty unneccessary. She used it the first week or so, and now never holds it (it is almost a hazard, and I am likely to take it back off soon. Without holding the bar, the trampoline is very stable and does not tip or "buck".
All in all, she loves loves loves this toy, and uses it 4x more than any other Christmas gift she received! It sure makes me feel less guilty about letting the TV run so much during the day... It's also great to cheer her on it when the weather is foul out and she needs to burn some energy. I will keep this up and in running condition until she out grows it, then will get a larger/sturdier model.
My only real complaint- I can't figure out how to fold it up when, for when company comes. Anyone?

This is a great trampoline. My 5 yo loves it, and has had it for a couple years. He jumps on it a lot and it still looks new. The handle is nice for extra balance (although as my child has gotten older he doesn't hold the handle as much). The fabric around the outside keeps them from jumping through the ropes on accident. The legs can pull off for storage, but we have never stored it, it gets used all the time. I've seen other brands of trampolines at friend's houses, and they either don't have the fabric outside (dangerous) or they are already saggy in the middle (lame) or they have lots of extra buttons and gadgets on the front for noises or sounds or something (unnecessary). This one seems great.
My only caution is that if your child likes to jump REALLY high while holding the handle, they might push on the handle causing the trampoline to tilt a little. It's not that much, but I am super-careful so I put the trampoline facing the wall (handle side to the wall) to prevent any accidental tips. Also, my husband said the bungee cord rope was really tight and hard to put on, so just plan for that when you assemble it.

I bought this trampoline for my special needs son after his therapist suggested that it was a great tool for his sensory stimulation. We placed it in our living room and as soon as he got up on mornings he would jump on it giggling with excitement. It was a joy to see how much pleasure he was getting from it. Then the bungee cord broke within the first couple months of him using it even though he is well below the suggested maximum weight requirement. I contacted customer service and was sent a new replacement cord immediately. However, I have to report that the new bungee cord broke again not long after. So it is obviously a waste of time to get the same replacement cord for the trampoline since the underlying problem remains the same. Really bad product.I am very unhappy that my son , who loved the trampoline, cannot use it at all. It's a total waste of money. Would not recommend to anyone. I cannot express how dissapointed I am with the quality of this product. Now my son is without a trampoline after spending $80 for something that has been broken longer than he actual got to use it.Customer Review: Best toy we've ever had...by far

Oh, god! Not another 5 star review. Well, yes it is, and with reason. I have two girls, now 7 and 4. We have had the trampoline for 3 years now, and they still use it every day. They fight over who gets to jump on it EVERY DAY! Can you name any other toy that can come close to that amount of utility. I can't. We live in NYC, so this has been very handy when the girls can't go outside.
Some issues: children can jump too high, causing the trampoline to become unstable on the side of the handlebar. To solve this, we just put the handlebar up against a wall. No more issues.
Also, the foam padding on the bar has worn away (no big deal) and the hex nut connectors work their way loose and can be lost. But Galt, like most good toy manufacturers, will gladly send you replacements for free.
The quality of the trampoline is very good. Given the extreme amount of use it has had, it is still in very good shape. I just wish every toy I bought got this much use.
