We bought this for my son's 2nd birthday party. I was leery because of some of the negative reviews, but went ahead and bought it anyway since there were no bubble machines in any of the stores in my area. It's a good thing I did! We had kids ranging from age 5 to 18 months at the party and they were all absolutely enthralled with this machine. It was the hit of the party! We did have to refill the bubble solution once or twice, but it doesn't go through solution as fast as some people made it out.
The only thing I didn't like was how easy it is for the bubble solution bottle to tip out of the machine. I'm very glad we decided to put the machine out on our patio instead of instead the house, because the patio was a MESS from the spilled solution. As long as you keep it outside though, I think this is a great product and well worth the money!

We have used this toy many times, and I can't figure out how people are rusting out their battery compartments if they are following the simple directions. There is a maximum fill line in the solution compartment and a carry handle that keeps it upright when moving it from place to place. If you never allow the bubble solution to go beyond the compartment, there is NO way the unit will ever get wet! (including the battery compartment) Once you are finished using the product, you simply pop off the bubble wand and rinse it with warm water, and pull out the solution compartment and rinse it, as well. This took less than a minute and a half. I recommend the parent puts in the solution, which takes about 5 seconds and then it is ready for use. This is one of the best toys we have, and great for entertaining when my daughter's friends come over for a visit.Customer Review: Finicky Bubble Machine

My 2-1/2 year old grandson loves this machine, but this was my second purchase since spring. The first machine was left outside and wouldn't work after a rainstorm. The second one was left on my front porch overnight (I'm a slow learner) and wouldn't run after another rainstorm. I tried opening it and drying it out, but that didn't seem to work. I left it out there and one morning I went out and heard it running - just like that! So, we are now using it again and getting it inside at night. Although a lot of people say it doesn't work unless you use the Gazillion Bubbles bubble mixture, I've had no problems at all with the generic bubble mix that I buy at a national retail store. Even if this one breaks down again, I will buy another, because for $10.00 (or thereabouts) it's cheap entertainment for a little one.Customer Review: Great purchase! Many people commented on this machine only being usable a few times, but I have no idea what they are talking about! This machine produces many, many bubbles, and gazillion bubble solution is the best you will find out there. the battery compartment is above the fan and bubble solution, so solution does not drip into there to clog it up, as other reviewers have said. I simply rinse mine with cold water after each use and things have continued to work very, very well. My two year old loves playing outside while the bubbles are going, and asks for it ALL THE TIME! It's also fun for grown ups, because let's face it....you never really outgrow the wonder of bubbles! A definite must buy for its price, but be prepared to have your children requesting that you set it up ALOT!Customer Review: Love the bubbles

I have a two year old and a 7 month old and the love this product. They love all the tons of bubbles that shoot out and they run around and try to pop them! It can be messy with the bubbles - but worth the fun. Just keep out of reach because it is fragile and will break if dropped. I am on my third one since my two year old loves the way it spins! Enjoy! Also, get the one that does the huge bubbles too - I put them together and swear it keeps them laughing and jumping around for a long time! Love the big huge bubbler made by Gazzilion as well!
