I think burning a twenty dollar bill would have lasted as long for entertainment and been just as entertaining! Also, what a waste to the environment of all that plastic, shipping, batteries, etc. for what??
I was disappointed when I opened this one hour before my son's birthday party and all it took was some less-than-perfect installing bubble solution technique and sitting around (it seems to leak when just sitting there?) for it to not work very well anymore. Luckily, I had read reviews beforehand and didn't use my nice rechargeable batteries and even taped the battery compartment hoping to protect the batteries, but apparently that wasn't the problem.
Anyway, my sister-in-law brought over those colorful little bubble tubes with the mini wands they often use at weddings, etc. I was amazed at how many bubbles came out of those! They were so easy to blow and I realized that the bubble machine really didn't really save work for adults because of having to watch over the machine, refilling, cleaning up the mess, etc. I felt bad at the waste of materials and money. From now on, I will use those mini bubbles instead!!

They claim 4000 bubbles a minute and I believe them. However that transfers into allot of bubble solution. You might want to find a recipe to make your own, but Gazillion solution can be bought fairly cheap in larger bottles and their bubbles last longer than my homemade solution and are more colorful. Adding red food dye helps. The one downside to this bubbler is when full of solution, if moved to another location it will spill out solution from the two overflow holes if not help perfectly level. I assume those holes are to prevent solution from getting into the motor or batteries. The bubbles aren't large, but I'd say average 2.5 inches. All kids and adults that have seen this bubbler in action are amazed and I still am. I can't determine how long it will last, I've only used it 5 or 6 times totaling about an hour, but if it breaks on use #7, I'm still going to buy another one. One final note, the picture posted isn't the same as the bubbler that I received, mine has no handle & has a place for the solution to sit in the bubbler (upside down) that supplies the bubbler with solution, but looks like it blows bubbles the same way.Customer Review: Best toy bubble maker we have bought.

I have bought a couple other bubble maker toys for my 16 month old to play with and every single one has been utter junk and failed in MINUTES. Not this one. Not only does the bubble solution it comes with work well, the machine works as advertised without a hitch, even my wife and I were amazed at the bubble output. A couple of these machines for a little child's party would have kids going nuts. The maker also has a separate motor and battery so that it will rotate on its base and shoot bubbles 360 degrees. This can be turned on and off as needed, if needed and isn't required to make bubbles.
As a bonus, the soap solution doesn't seem to leave greasy/oily bubble spots on whatever they pop/land on. The bubbles pop on contact with a surface and don't stay around. I would strongly suggest buying extra solution with this as it's a proven formulation and the machine may not work as well, without experimentation, with other brands or concoctions of solution.
If your child loves bubbles, you will love this little machine!

My 11 year old got this as a birthday gift for my 5 year old son - we didn't konw if he would have interest in such a toy - but since he has always enjoyed bubbles it was worth a try. Turns out that this machine is out at least twice a week for some fun in the sun bubble chasing fun, running or biking through walls of bubbles, watching air flow down the driveway...or just plain ol' lazy bubble watching. He likes breaking it out when friends come over. It seems durable enough given my son's 5 year old carelessness and easy for him to operate and safe for carefree use - however, if I HAD to beef about this product I would say that the bubble solution spills far too easily from the machine - so steady hands are definately needed if they want to move the machine from one spot to the next. otherwise bubble solution is everywhere (at quite a cost). Batteries have lasted long and refilling the bubble solution is easy and mostly mess free. All around - an interesting toy which is well liked and enjoyed by the entire family - go figure.Customer Review: LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BUBBLE MACHINE!!!

We were given this bubble machine for my son's 2nd birthday last summer. We accidentally left it on the back porch and it was rained on. Needless to say...it did not withstand a rain storm. So, I came on amazon and ordered this same product! I was SOOO thankful they sold it! We always bring in the machine now when we are done. They do sell this brand at Target but not this actual model. I prefer this model over the others. This bubble machine produces the BEST bubbles and the MOST. I've had and seen other kinds of machines and they don't come close to comparing to the Gazillion one. I HIGHLY recommend this for any young child who loves bubbles. It's the ultimate bubble machine! Beware though, you will want to purchase more Gazillion bubble refills for this machine. We tried cheap bubble liquids at Target and they didn't go a quarter the distance or get as big. Target stores do sell Gazillion bubble refills for much cheaper than Amazon. I'm SOLD on Gazillion bubble machines and refills!
