got this for christmas.it is not as good as i thought it would be in helping to solve crossword puzzles. Since I don't play Scrabble, guess it might help those with words but finding an answer to, "What is the name of Zeus's wife?" is what I thought it would do. Guess I should read more of the description before I purchased it. It is also NOT a dictionary.

This product is perfect for anagram type puzzles. This is the second one I bought. I wore the first one out using it for over three years. This also was bigger and easier to read. Easy to use and carry almost impossible to put down once you try it out, you'll be wondering how you managed or how many puzzles you skipped without it. There's 2 areas which could be improved. Upon starting the clear button needs to be activated to stop a scrolling message. Would be nice to be able to use it without this step. The other area is the large size text is great but the letters are somewhat block like. Smoothing of letters would be better. So far, the solver does its job well.Customer Review: puzzle helper

The service was good the second time I ordered. Them first distuber finally said they did not have the product. The second distuber shipped within two days. The product is not a toy. I use it everday for word scrimmage from the paper. Some words are words I have never heard of or seen before. The Crossword Puzzle Solver that I bought this time was a replacement for the same one I bought from Amazon. The first one didn't last very long! Vertical strokes started to appear and it got worse. Eventually, I had to buy another one. In other words, so far it cost me twice the price of one. There was no recourse!!!
