I ordered this because I love pandas and I already know that Folkmanis produces excellent quality plush puppets but I was still surprised and impressed by the realistic details they included when making this little puppet that fits in the palm of your hand. The fingers and toes are of a black leather material and the nose is a hard "button". The eyes are hard plastic and when you look at the puppet from the front or side, it is proportioned like a real panda - shape and proportions. It isn't like many smaller plush animals which tend to follow an indistinguishable, generic "animal pattern". This really looks like a very tiny panda. The materials used and the stitching are sturdy and soft and it sits upright on its own. It is so cute. It's another very well made puppet by Folkmanis. They know what they're doing when they make animals designed to look like real wildlife!
