Toys and Games Reviews of Floppy Seat Shopping Cart CoverCustomer Review: GREAT GREAT GREAT!!! Summary: 5 StarsThis cover was worth every penny of $40.00. Reversable and machine washable. With flu season coming, I couldn't imagine our family without it. I wish I saw more moms using this instead of seeing a tot teething on a bare shopping cart handle. BONUS: This even fits super large shopping carts like at costco or sam's club here in michigan.
Customer Review: Germ barrier and comfort item Summary: 5 StarsMy son will be 2 this week, and I have been using the Floppy Seat since he was 6 months old. Last week, I had taken it out of my van to vacuum and ended up at the grocery store without it. I ended up puttin an unused diaper behind his back to pad the grocery cart because he was complaining that it hurt. I never though about how much more comfortable that cart is using the Floppy than without. I wonder how many kids would shop better if their parents had one of these?
Customer Review: Convenient...And It Works! Summary: 4 StarsThis is one product I'm glad I got. Sometimes people stop to inquire about it when they see it on my cart, and they say it looks nice. Great item...Only one thing, I think it would help to have a little more padding on the sides, or an armrest, so baby doesn't slouch over to the side so much. I've started putting my purse or some other item like a blanket or jacket beside of her.
Customer Review: Best purchase ever! Summary: 5 StarsMy husband and I saw someone using this item one day while shopping. We asked where she got it and purchased it when we got home. It is one of the best purchases we have ever made!
We have a 7 month old son, and now that we have the Floppy, he can sit in the carts when we go shopping. He used to sit in the stroller. Our son loves to be "up high" and see everything that is going on around him.
Other advantages are: it can be used in restaurant high chairs and it is machine washable.
Only disadvantage is the leg holes are a little too big for our son. However, we figure as he grows, this won't be a problem. It is definitely worth the money!
Customer Review: You wouldn't buy a stroller without a 5 point harness, so why would you buy this? Summary: 1 StarsI purchased this for my oldest dd before she was born. I used it a few times from 6 to 9 months until she was able to stand up, which she did. There is only a little lap belt, not a five point harness. She almost fell out. So I purchased a different car seat cover with a five point harness (Shop n Dine) that didn't neccesarily cover the whole seat (it covers a lot of it though, and it kept her in)
Then I tried the Floppy again with my second dd. AT 12 months she actually stood up and fell out of the shopping cart with Floppy in it. I pulled the belt as tight as I could and I was no more than two feet away. She needed a CT scan of her head at the hospital. I felt so guilty because I did not use the 5 point harness one.
Of course you should be germ phobic, but it is much more likely for a child of this age to get hurt or killed from a fall, than killed from a germ. I'm going with safety. I would never dream of purchasing a stroller without a 5 point harness, and that's much closer to the ground. Why put your kid up so high without being properly secured? The little lap belt will not keep active children in.
This would be perfect if it had a five point harness.
