This toy is great! Does 16 different animals sounds. Sings Old McDonald through one time. Each time using a different animal name and sound, of the 16 animals. A quiz mode to find the animal that makes a certain sound. The handle is easy to pull, for a 2 yr old anyway. He imitates the animal sounds. It uses batteries, so it sounds a lot better than the standard see n' say. The batteries have lasted long in it, 3AA.Customer Review: See & Say

I purchased this toy for my grandson for Christmas, mainly, because I had a See&Say when I was young. I liked this toy better now, then in the older days with the pulling of the string. (That was dangerous to me). I like the pull-down handle for this toy. I enjoyed seeing my grandson eyes light up when the animals made their sound. I think this is a great toy for kids to learn the sounds of different farm animals.Customer Review: Not what I was hoping for

If I had tried this toy out before I purchased it online, I would not have bought it. In order for the sounds to work, you have to manually turn the arrow to the picture. If the arrow is at the edge of the picture, it doesn't make noise. If you don't pull the arm down completely, it doesn't make noise. My son (13 months) is not able to use it himself yet and does not seem interested in the noises it makes.Customer Review: Small and overpriced

I was expecting this toy to be the size of See N Says from my youth so the price didn't faze me....until I pulled it out of the box and it's less than half the size and very flimsy! My 18 month old gets very frustrated with the lever. If you don't get it down to the very bottom, it doesn't play anything.
If you still want to give it a try, go to WalMart where I saw it for about $[...]. UGH!

Over all I think this is a good toy for the price but this is not "The Farmer Says" of my youth. The new design with the pull lever is hard for my 15 month old and it causes him to get upset. The sound is very quiet and hard to understand. I don't think the animal sounds are as good as the orginal. I do like the size and the flap that changes between sets of animals seems to be fun for my son.
