Mollie is, believe it or not, 16. She has wanted an Elmo for years and I decided this year she would get one. Why not, she needs someone in the car with her, right? This was possibly her favorite gift, and she played with it til the batteries ran out! (THANK GOD) and this is from all her friends, her siblings and yes her grandpa and me. I really didn't know that Elmo could be so annoying! But she loves him and has made the rounds of Christmans parties and New years with Elmo in tow, entertaining everyone to the point of destruction, or I should say distraction, right, right, distraction, thats it.
Elmo is wonderfully agile and happy, happy, happy! Any child 18 months+ would be entertained for hours with this Happy little guy and parents would be able to curtail, limit, or hide the fun when necessary. I would recomend this toy to all 'young' very young children as a stellar gift! But for an almost not child, soccer playing, car driving, shopping til they drop teenage girl, No, under no circumstances, not a good gift. I can get affidavits on that if you wish. Her bff, her hhbl(hunk a hunk of burning love) would like to throw it out a window, going very fast down a major heavy traffic.
But Mollie? She really loves Elmo. He was possibly her favorite gift!!
