Toys and Games Reviews of Power Wheels Dora Lil' Quad

Customer Review: Nice, but not perfect
Summary: 4 Stars

My little girl (15 months old) initially was very attracted to this little car (i guess it was because of its red color), it was one of the christmas gift and i had to push it all day long because the battery takes 18 hours to charge on its first use. The next day when i installed the battery, i started teaching my girl on how to use the car and she was scared (maybe because of the sound of electric motor or because she didn't feel safe without me at the back, i don't know...). Anyway, she didn't want to play again with it.

To improve:
> Turning radius (it's very short). Yeah, i know this is a baby product, but still i feel it needs a higher turning radio.
> Stickers. The shape and the glue are no good, shape because some of the stickers are to be placed on non-flat surfaces, you may be very carefull installing them but you WILL have air at the end, causing the sticker to have a bad look. Glue because all of the stickers (without exception) start to peel off after a couple of days.

Customer Review: Not as much fun as I would have liked
Summary: 3 Stars

We gave this to my daughter for her 2nd birthday -she never really liked it. That whole summer she rode it only a few times and has completely ignored it since. I think it goes too slow to be any fun --I know, I know, you don't want it to go too fast for a two year old but... Is it worth it if they don't want to ride the thing?

Will try it again this summer with her little sister :-) We'll see if she likes it better.

I will say this; we have NOT had any issues with durability. We've had it for 3 years now and it holds a charge as good as it did when new, still looks great and works perfectly.

Little sis has now tried it out and I think she likes it well enough but it's certainly not her favorite thing to do. Over all it's still kinda' ehhh.

Customer Review: Not worth the money..by the Dora Big Wheel Instead
Summary: 1 Stars

I brought this last Christmas for my daughter, and I also recommended a co-worker of mine to do the same since her daughter was also two years old. Two days after Christmas the two front wheels fell off while she was riding it and they continued to fall off every time she would drive off the sidewalk into a grassy area or bush. There's a plastic round piece that holds the two wheels in place, but this piece doesn't fit properly to prevent the wheels from coming off. Two weeks later I went to visit my co-worker at home and she was experiencing the same problem. I got so sick and tired of putting the wheels back on while my daughter was outdoors riding it that I don't let her ride it anymore. Not worth the money or the time! Buy the Dora Explorer Big Wheel instead, my daughter loves it and it's very durable.

Customer Review: ok but not great.
Summary: 3 Stars

I have to say that this is an OK product. There coule be little done to make this a great toy. I bought this for our 19 month old daughter. She loved it from the second we opened the box and just had to ride it. But after the 18 hr first charge of the battery she was ready to go. She has no problems sitting on it and pushing the button to ride around. She doesn't understand the steering so she just runs into stuff and keeps holding the button down. The only con i see is i wish it would of had a reverse button to go backwards. Other than that, i think my daughter is going to like this for a while, but also see her getting burned out on it in a yr or so.

Customer Review: Dora Quad
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this for my daughter last year at Christmas. The age limit was 12-36 months. My daughter was 14 months at the time. She wasn't ready for it yet. She couldn't steer it and the button was hard to hold and steer at the same time. She is now two and she rides it all over the place. I don't think it was a waste of money, but I probably would have waited to get it if I had known that she wouldn't have been interested in it right away. Overall, a great product...I just don't know if a 12 month old is able to do it.
