Customer Review: Love the idea, but doesn't work well...

My daughter, 4 months, loves to look at the fish and watch the lights and movements, but there is a downfall to this toy. You have to really rock this toy to make it work. It is not sensitive enough for my daughter to activate it on her own. We bought this gym thinking that her movements would activate it easily and she would learn that her legs moving would make it work, but to our dismay, the gym does not do this. I was disappointed after learning this. She still likes to lay on it and watch the movement.
Other than this complaint, we like the music, the colors and the idea that she will be able to play with it when she is older.
Customer Review: Great entertainer until my daughter learned to sit....

I loved this when we first bought it. My daughter was soo thrilled watching the lights and the fish go round and pulling on the toys that hang from it... However, as she got to be about 5-6 months she was learning to sit. I adjusted it to the sitting position... and she was doing fine until she started to grab the wheel part and pull herself right over it. I don't let her play with it unless i'm staying right with her now so she doesn't end up diving face first to the floor. I think it oculd have been made a little better for sitting. But it was a GREAT toy for the first 4-5 months! I think we got our moneys worth.

We bought this toy for our first grandchildren when she was three months old. She loves playing on it. She is now five months old and has figured out how to pull all the fish out and chew on them. She has also figured out if she moves or kicks in the boat the music will play and the steering wheel turns. When the steering wheel turns the lights go on, the music starts and you can hear the sound of the ocean. You can also see the water making waves in the steering wheel.The boat is made so older children can sit up and drive it. Its a great way to help babies use their eyes and ears as well as learn cause and effect.Customer Review: Baby Amanda loves it!

Our daughter who just turned 3 months this December absolutely LOVES this play mat. We bought it for her for x-mas and she must be at the perfect age for it b/c she swings at the hanging fish like a maniac, makes non-stop cooing and other hilarious sounds, and smiles like crazy when the music starts playing. Now from a parental view it was easy & fast to put together, not too expensive, and we haven't had any problems with it so far. The smiles this toy has brought our daughter is priceless. This is our 2nd daughter so we've been thru our share of "bad- idea" baby toys and this IS NOT one of them =)Customer Review: Makes my son's day

My son is two months old and absolutely loves this gym. At first I thought it was going to be a waste of money, but now I feel its more than worth the money. My son will lay there with smiles watching the fish go round and listening to the music. Also, he loves to talk to the fish and hit them with his hand. He seems to the enjoy the yellow face one more. To watch him on it is worth any price. I did add a very soft quilt to the bottom due to the fact that the padding is very thin, and I wanted to soften it up for him. This to me is worth the money, but each child is different.
